Team Leader - Child & Family Services (Permanent)
SCHADS Level 6 | Western Sydney (Blacktown, Parramatta & Penrith)

We are partnering with Catholic Care Western Sydney and Blue Mounbtains a well-established community services organisation, to recruit a Team Leader within their Child & Family Services portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a permanent leadership role supporting newly funded and expanding programs, including the Families Together program, working with children, young people, and families across Western Sydney.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Child & Family Services Manager, you will lead a team delivering frontline, community-based support services.

You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and outcomes-focused service delivery, while supporting and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to a team of practitioners
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery
  • Support staff with complex case work, risk, and safeguarding matters
  • Monitor performance, outcomes, and reporting requirements
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and community partners
  • Promote evidence-informed and trauma-informed practice
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of team members
About You
  • Experience in child, youth, and family services
  • Previous experience in a Team Leader / Senior Practitioner role
  • Strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and risk
  • Ability to support teams through complex and sensitive cases
  • Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • A collaborative and supportive leadership style
