NISS Case Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Case Coordinator to join a well-established human services program supporting individuals and families from refugee, asylum seeker and culturally diverse backgrounds.
This is a contract opportunity, ideal for someone who can step in quickly and deliver high-quality, client-centred support within a structured program environment.
The Role
As a Case Coordinator, you will provide responsive, strengths-based case coordination, supporting clients to overcome barriers, access services, and work towards independence.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing individualised case plans
- Conducting comprehensive assessments (housing, health, social, and financial)
- Supporting clients to engage with community and external services
- Managing complex caseloads with competing priorities
- Building strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
- Ensuring accurate and timely case notes and reporting
- Applying culturally appropriate and trauma-informed practice
You will bring:
- Experience in case management/case coordination within human services
- Strong understanding of working with CALD, refugee or asylum seeker communities
- Ability to manage complex client needs, including mental health and social challenges
- Experience working in a strengths-based, client-centred framework
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Tertiary qualification in Human Services or related discipline
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to obtain relevant probity checks (WWCC, Police Check)
