Housing Pathways – Intake & Assessment
Temporary Housing /Homelessness role in North-West Sydney. Support vulnerable clients accessing social housing and private rental assistance.

The Role
You will support people seeking housing assistance across the housing continuum, including social housing and private rental assistance. The role focuses on assessing housing needs, supporting applicants through the housing process, and coordinating appropriate housing outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting housing eligibility and priority housing interviews
- Supporting individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- Providing advice on social housing and private rental assistance options
- Managing housing applications and maintaining accurate case records
- Allocating social housing properties in line with Housing Pathways policies
- Liaising with community services and support providers to coordinate outcomes
- Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and compassionate manner
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- Experience in community housing, homelessness, tenancy or housing support services
- Understanding of NSW Housing Pathways or social housing systems
- Strong client engagement and assessment skills
- Experience supporting vulnerable or complex clients
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
