Service Manager - Day Programs| Disability Support Services

Are you a passionate leader who thrives on creating meaningful, engaging experiences for people with disability?

We are partnering with a well-established disability services provider to recruit a Service Manager - Day Program to lead a community-based program supporting people across a diverse range of ages, abilities, and interests.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role where creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement are genuinely encouraged.

Working closely with families, stakeholders, and participants, you’ll design and implement engaging programs that build skills, confidence, and independence. Alongside this, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, including program development and review, staffing ratios, budgets, and service quality - all while contributing to the ongoing growth and impact of the service.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the daily operations of the Day Program and supporting a team of Support Workers
  • Designing engaging and meaningful activities aligned with participant goals
  • Creating innovative programs such as music sessions, cultural events, art and craft workshops, movement programs and community outings
  • Building strong relationships with participants, families and the broader community
  • Ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery and positive participant outcomes
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve and grow the program
Essential Requirements:
  • Certificate IV or higher in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Experience leading day programs
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and person-centred care principles.
