We are partnering with Catholic Care Western Sydney & Blue Mountains to recruit 2-3 Case Workers for their Families Together program (formerly Family Preservation).
These are fantastic opportunities to join a growing, well-supported service delivering early intervention support to children, young people, and families across Western Sydney.
The Opportunity
As a Case Worker, you will work directly with families to provide practical, strengths-based support, helping to improve safety, well-being, and long-term outcomes.
You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering services across Parramatta, Penrith, and Blacktown, supporting families with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver case management and support to children, young people, and families
- Undertake risk assessments, safety planning, and case planning
- Work in partnership with families to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes
- Maintain accurate case notes, reporting, and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams, DCJ, and community stakeholders
- Apply trauma-informed and child-safe practices in all work
- Experience working with children, young people, and families
- Understanding of child protection, risk, and safeguarding
- Strong engagement and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and competing priorities
- Relevant qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or similar (or working towards)
- NSW Driver's Licence
- 2-3 permanent opportunities commencing June
