The Opportunity As Senior Clinician, you will provide clinical mentorship within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a complex caseload. You will play a central role in embedding trauma-informed practice, supporting clinician capability, and contributing to service development and quality improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialised trauma-informed assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions
- Managing a caseload of young people presenting with complex and intersecting needs
- Leading case reviews, integrated care planning, and family-inclusive therapeutic approaches
- Providing mentoring, reflective practice, and clinical supervision to clinicians and students
- Supporting intake, triage, and crisis response functions
- Working collaboratively with families, community agencies, AOD services, and youth mental health providers
- Contributing to program development, service evaluation, and clinical governance processes
We are seeking a senior clinician who is passionate about youth mental health, trauma recovery, and multidisciplinary care.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or a related discipline
- Eligibility for professional registration or membership (e.g., AHPRA, AASW or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience supporting young people with mental health and/or AOD challenges
- Strong risk assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic formulation skills
- Experience working within multidisciplinary or community-based service models
- Ability to mentor clinicians and contribute to workforce capability development
- A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Current driver’s licence
